Welcome to Mile's End Equine Assisted Learning where anyone can find freedom on a horse.

Children and Adults with disabilities find a way to succeed on their own when riding a horse. Some are just so happy to be on such a big warm animal. Others get involved in their lesson and tell me what they want to do in the lesson. It is exciting to watch a boy concentrate on his lesson and help create the direction of the lesson , and then remember to use the different components of the lesson such as "walk on" and "whoa" without being prompted each time.
Every student can needs as many as three volunteers to have a safe ride, so please visit our volunteer page to find out ways you can get involved.
